Politicians, sex, money oh and Mr Smith!

March 31st, 2009 by admin

Well, I could not miss the opportunity on discussing my feelings on politiicians and how they seem to be able to get away with claiming for anything on expenses and bend the rules to their own gain.

It angers me so much that they waste taxpayers money and apparently cheat the system in a way that would never be allowed in the corporate environment.

So Mr Smith has been watching porn?  Nothing wrong with that in my book, but should we have to pay for it?  No!  All of £10 put on expenses!  Perhaps Mr Smith was missing his wife so much that his only relief was watching porn, so perhaps we should sympathise!  (Should he have paid a visit an escort?  LOL – But then how would he clarify that on his expenses claim ………..mmmmmmm personal services!)

Talking about Personal Services, that brings to mind the film and particularly at the end where poor Cynthia Payne is in the dock and the screen starts to pan out to show the Magistrate, Judges etc and they were all indeed MOP’s!!!!!

Jacqui Smith has recently made some inferior references to workers in the sex industry which have just added to the already negative view that the general public has of us.  The sort of comments she made can inflame vigilante reactions against sex workers.

Perhaps she should now sit back and rethink.

Furthermore isn’t it ironic that Mr Smith is also her paid assistant – apparently on a salary of some £40k……….. £40k to do what?  Open letters and assist in what exactly?

Oh, and let’s not forget how much she claims for living at her sister’s home!

It’s no wonder people become apathetic with government and politics and whilst I would never condone violence I applaud those who have the guts to get up and march in the recent demonstrations in London.

It’s important for us all to take a stand against these politicians who clearly take advantage of their positions and abuse them totally.

Oh well, best get off my soapbox and get on with my day!

P.S  Wouldn’t we all just love to know exactly what two films he did watch?  LOL

You’re Fired!

March 25th, 2009 by admin

If those words mean anything to you then you might be well aware that The Apprentice returns to our screens tonight!

I have to admit that I am indeed a fan!

It’s interesting to see all the different characters vying for the Number 1 spot and to see how some will use any measures to get there is at times cringe making!

I guess it’s part of life though isn’t it.  Trying to impress, to appeal, to win that favoured postion of being the best.

There’s nothing wrong with striving for more is there?  Although in my book, you get out of life what you put in.  The more you put in then the bigger the rewards.

Wish you all a lovely evening.

Viagra on legs! That’s me!

March 23rd, 2009 by admin

I was informed the other day that there is a review of me on www.captain69.co.uk. Unbeknown to me of course. The review has been there since December 2008 and was posted by a very kind gentleman who to this date is likewise unbeknown to me! A visit to me via contact from the adultwork site is what prompted him to write a very glowing report on captain69. I have now checked the review and unfortunately don’t know who it is as it has been posted under a username which is of no meaning to me! I am, however, very grateful and was rather chuffed that someone had posted there about me! It’s the first review I have there and I just hope it’s the first of many more as I am well aware it’s a well respected site. I would love to put a link to the review here but don’t think it’s possible as only members get the pleasure of reading all the salacious details

However, I can quote in all honesty that he did describe me as “a curvy, tanned example of viagra on legs” and “definitive fantasy MILF”. In short “Alex is classy, incredibly sexy”.

There is much more of course, but I think I should leave the rest to imagination and also my head is swelling as I write and modesty is the best policy, isn’t it?

Saying that though, I will leave on this note – the description below which should keep your mind working overtime….

“What sets Alex apart is that not only is she a curvy, tanned example of viagra on legs, she loves the whole thing so much. She gets off on knowing you’re looking at her, and plays along, encouraging you to tell her what to do, and telling you what she wants you to do to her”.

Beautiful Day, Rugby and Life!

March 21st, 2009 by admin

Well, the sun is shining and I am up with the birds (real ones – no pun intended here!).

So I am off for a swim and will have to have something loud and upbeat playing in the car, shame I don’t have Beautiful Day by U2 as that song springs to mind on a glorious morning like this!

It’s certainly a day for Rugby too isn’t it? So to all you Rugby fans, I wish your teams well and hope you will be smiling as the day ends! If not, remember it’s just a game after all.

This leads me to a quote from Mother Teresa actually:

Life is a game, Play It……

Mmmm now that is something to ponder on for the weekend. In fact the quote in full is as follows:

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it. Life is beauty, admire it. Life is bliss, taste it. Life is a dream, realize it. Life is a challenge, meet it. Life is a duty, complete it. Life is a game, play it. Life is a promise, fulfill it. Life is sorrow, overcome it. Life is a song, sing it. Life is a struggle, accept it. Life is a tragedy, confront it. Life is an adventure, dare it. Life is luck, make it. Life is too precious, do not destroy it. Life is life, fight for it.

It’s certainly food for thought though isn’t it and well worth abiding to I think.

I wish you all a wonderful weekend and may your team win!

Women in the boardroom help companies succeed

March 19th, 2009 by admin

Well, that’s as reported in The Times today!

A recent study has shown that having women in the Boardroom can made a difference between success and bankruptcy! There are many reasons for this, some of them being that women will work twice as hard to get ahead in an environment which is predominantly run by men, and another is that women are never too embarrassed to ask for help when things go wrong, whereas men tend to suffer in silence!

So it pleases me to read such articles which give me the opportunity to write here as there are indeed many successful and intelligent women in my industry too! It’s a great shame that we are frowned on by society and people fail to see that indeed we are just as human as the next person and have feelings, thoughts and opinions too.

Here come the girls!

Laughter and Tears

March 13th, 2009 by admin

So to update you on my flutter – it’s rather amusing I think.

The favourite I backed, unfortunately did not win.  However, caught by the bug, I decided to put another bet on another favourite in the next race and lo and behold, it won!!!!!  The irony is that having lost in the first one, I was hesitant to shell out much more so I betted safely and did not take too much of a risk.  In hindsight, I kicked myself for not putting more on it, but there you go, it’s the luck of the draw I guess.

Moving on from that, not only is it the 13th today, but it’s also Comic Relief Day.  I have just been watching some of the documentaries shown on TV about the desperate plight of those suffering not only in Africa, but also here in the UK.  That’s why it has brought many tears to my eyes.

We need to see things that are being shown this evening throughout the Comic Relief night, to be reminded of what we need to do to help those less fortunate than ouselves.  It’s heartbreaking to watch but necessary.

On a lighter note, the comic side of the evening in contrast has at times had me in stitches, so I have indeed gone from laughter to tears and back again.

Fri 13th – Lucky for me?

March 13th, 2009 by admin

Hello all.

OK so it’s Friday the 13th.  I am, however, not really the supersticious type and I have to say I have been known to walk under ladders and not bat an eyelid when crossed by a black cat!

So I decided to have a flutter today on a favourite running at Cheltenham, and will therefore be glued to the tv at some point this afternoon.  Now the question is shall I post you the outcome or not?  I think it would only be fair, wouldn’t it.

Even though I am not supersticious, I will however be crossing my fingers though……..

A line from a film comes to mind ……….” Do I feel lucky?”

My first official Blog!

March 10th, 2009 by admin

To Blog or not to Blog? That was indeed my question……

I am delighted to welcome you to my new wonderful site. Although I am not new to escorting, this is a new site and for various reasons I have changed domain and am happily settled now on this one. Firstly in this blog I would like to say a big warm hearted thank you to miradesign who put together this beautiful site for me. The work was all done promptly and I would strongly recommend them to anyone I know.

I was pondering on the question of having a blog or not and have to confess I am not really a master at this “blogging” and whilst I am fully aware of blogging, I think I still have a long way to go, but for now I will enjoy filling you all in on how things are with me and will do my best to keep you all interested so you will come back for more.

In the meantime, a warm welcome to all who come here and please feel free to post comments as and when you like (providing they are printable of course! )
